Glenroy West Kindergarten offers a fun packed event calendar for our families and community to enjoy. We hold working bees, fundraising events, BBQ’s and more giving families an opportunity to participate and celebrate. Join us as we create new memories, build new friendships and have a whole lot of fun.

We celebrate the start of a new year at our family barbeque. Children, parents and grandparents are all welcome. Get to know other families, meet the Committee of Management, and spend time with our teaching staff. Meadowview Church members generously cook up a sausage sizzle and families are invited to bring a platter to share while the children play together in the garden. Plus, don’t miss the Easter raffle draw.

Each Easter our families sell tickets to help raise funds for Glenroy West Kindergarten. All tickets which are sold go into the prize draw with a chance to win one of our lovely Easter hampers. We gratefully accept donated goodies and gifts to help create a wonderful selection of Easter hampers to be won.

Join us at this rewarding community event which brings together Glenroy West Kindergarten families and Meadowview Church members. We spend the day gardening, painting, building and repairing but take a well-earned break to enjoy a sausage sizzle lunch. The working bee helps refresh our kindergarten’s outdoor area, upgrades the children’s play spaces and rejuvenates the garden by planting new seedlings and clearing weeds and rubbish.

We celebrate the lovely Mothers of Glenroy West Kindergarten. This evening event is filled with storytelling, music, singing and dancing performances from the children. There are kindergarten activities for Mothers to take part in and a handmade gift from the children in celebration of Mother’s Day. It’s an opportunity for Mothers and children to enjoy a shared kindergarten experience.

An occasion to celebrate the wonderful Fathers at this evening event. Enjoy storytelling, music, singing and dancing performances from our children. Fathers can also take part in activities with their children and receive a handmade gift in celebration of Father’s Day. On this special evening Dads will get to see some of the activities the children have been enjoying during their kindergarten sessions.

The end of year raffle gives families the opportunity to sell tickets to help raise funds for our kindergarten. We gratefully accept donated goodies and gifts to help create a wonderful selection of Christmas hampers to be won.

We mark the end of an exciting kindergarten year at this evening occasion. This social get together is an opportunity for parents, teaching staff and the Committee of Management to share in the year’s achievements and the children’s kindergarten experiences. A dinner is organised at a local restaurant for adults to attend.

Join us as we celebrate the completion of an exciting kindergarten year. We welcome families to bring a plate to share at our end of year lunch. Children take part in a Christmas performance for families. Plus, there’s a special visit from Santa who delivers gifts for the children. This event is held on the last day of term for each kindergarten group.
