We have a highly experienced and dedicated education team at Glenroy West Kindergarten who have worked together for many years. Our educators are committed to providing high quality learning experiences for children enrolled in our three and four-year-old kindergarten programs.
Courtney

Courtney leads and teaches both the three and four-year-old kindergarten groups at Glenroy West Kindergarten.
With nearly 10 years’ experience in early years education, Courtney has successfully held positions as an Assistant Director, Kindergarten Teacher and Educational Leader and Room Leader working in early childhood settings at Airport West, Moonee Ponds and Gisborne.
Courtney is passionate about creating a meaningful and holistic learning environment that provides a differentiated and personalised approach to children’s learning. Courtney is an enthusiastic leader and committed to enabling children to build their confidence, independence and develop respectful relationships through play-based learning. She believes that creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment lays the foundations to enable a teaching approach that empowers all children for life long learning.
Jo
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
Three and four-year-old groups
Diploma in Children’s Services
Jo is a dedicated member of the Glenroy West Kindergarten community. She has worked at the kindergarten since 2003. She is passionate about creativity and loves working with young children. Jo likes watching the children grow and develop. She supports the children’s learning by helping them to improve their skills.
Jo has a special interest in sustainability and enjoys teaching the children about recycling and composting by maintaining the worm farm and the garden with them.
Sharon
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
Four-year-old group
Cert 3 in Children’s Services
Sharon has over 30 years’ experience working in early childhood education. She has worked at Glenroy West Kindergarten since 2016 supporting the four-year-old groups.
Sharon’s passion is working with young children and watching them learn and grow in a caring and nurturing environment. Sharon’s focus is to actively engage with children during their play to extend and support their learning.
Rosa
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
Three-year-old group
Diploma in Children’s Services
Rosa joined Glenroy West Kindergarten to support the three-year-old group in 2022.
Rosa has over 20 years early childhood education experience having worked in the sector since 2002. Rosa’s previous experience includes working in several kindergartens, childcare centres, before and after care services and nannying. She also speaks and writes Italian and is a qualified first aid assistant.
Rosa’s three children previously enjoyed attending Glenroy West Kindergarten. During this time Rosa was an active member of the parent committee.
Rosa looks forward to the journey of getting to know your child as well as you and your family.
