Founded in 1970 Glenroy West Kindergarten is proud to be an independent community kindergarten managed by local parent volunteers.

Laying the foundations
Glenroy West Kindergarten was founded in 1970 as an independent community kindergarten managed by local parent volunteers. Our first premises was on Hartington Street in Glenroy.
1986
Developing community partnerships
The kindergarten moved to Glenroy West Primary School, thanks to the Principal at the time Kay Gauci. Our kindergarten and the Primary School had a strong partnership which spanned many years.
2014
Building our new home
Glenroy West Kindergarten has been located on its current premises at 701 Pascoe Vale Road in Glenroy since 2014. We now proudly occupy our own purpose-built building with a beautiful garden and play area, which was created by many hard-working volunteers, community helpers and donators.
Our working bees provide an opportunity to regularly maintain and upgrade our outdoor garden so that it provides a stimulating learning environment for our children.
We are located on the grounds of Meadow View Baptist Church and we thank them for their ongoing community support.
