The enrolment process

Step 1 – Visit us

Arranging a visit is the best way to get a true sense of what our community kindergarten has to offer your child and family.

Meet our friendly teaching staff, explore our facilities and find out more about our kindergarten programs. We are happy to discuss your child’s needs and answer any questions.

Step 2 – Register for enrolment

Enrolments for children starting our three and four year old kindergarten programs are undertaken by the Merri-bek Central Enrolment Scheme. If you would like to enrol your child at Glenroy West Kindergarten, please visit the the Merri-bek City Council website and select us as your first choice.

Step 3 – Accepting your offer

Offers of enrolment are sent out to families by Merri-bek Central Enrolment.

To secure your child’s place, please accept your offer. We will then be notified of your child’s confirmed enrolment by the Merri-bek Central Enrolment team.

Eligibility

Three-year-old program

To be eligible to attend our three-year-old program your child must turn three-years-old by 30 April in the year they attend. Therefore, they cannot attend until they have had their third birthday.

Children turning three-yearsold after Term 1 commences, but before the 30 April that year, will be required to pay term fees to hold their place. They will be eligible to attend kindergarten after their third birthday.

Four-year-old program

To be eligible to attend our four-year-old program your child must turn four-years-old by 30 April in the year they attend.

Children who are already enrolled and attending Glenroy West Kindergarten three-year-old program will be given priority to attend our four-year-old program.
